Congratulations to our March Teacher of The Month, Nicole Barker! Teaching the 3rd grade at Eisenhower Elementary, Nicole has been described as an outstanding educator who teaches out of a place of passion and empathy. She creates a safe and welcoming environment for her students, nurturing them to reach their full potential. Treating her 3rd grade class as her own, Nicole’s teaching goes beyond academics. She believes that teaching emotional and social skills are also important factors of her students learning experience. It is of high importance for her to implement strategies to manage emotions into her classroom.
