The State Champion Hempstead High School boys swimming team will be honored in a ceremony at the Kennedy Mall this week. Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock the Hempstead swimmers will be honored for the championship they captured last month.
The public is invited to come congratulate the state champs. At that time the Cafaro Foundation will present the school with a donation.
