The Grant County Sheriff says a Hazel Green man suffered minor injuries in a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon. Authorities say it happened around noon on Highway 61 at County Road T in Hickory Grove Township near Fennimore.
The Sheriff says 79-year old William Simmons was riding in a group with two friends. The two other riders had slowed down near the intersection, Simmons didn’t notice the others had slowed down, and he laid the cycle down to avoid colliding with them. Simmons was treated at the scene.
