On the final day of the Iowa High School State wrestling tournament in consolation finals:
- Abe Heysinger of Hempstead claimed the consolation championship in Class 3A at 106 pounds.
- In another area consolation championship match: Brock Morris of Cascade finished 4th place at 132 in Class 1A with a loss in his consolation final match.
- In 5th place matches: Mitchell Pins of Hempstead at 130 and Joe Hirsch of Western Dubuque at 157 won their final matches to finish 5th place. In Class 1A Jake Hiland of Bellevue lost his match to finish 6th.
- In matches for 7th place, Camden Smith of Hempstead at 215 and at 150 Brady Rissman of Western Dubuque took 7th place with victories, at 132 Mitchell Murphy of Hempstead lost his dual and finished 8th, and in Class 1A Preston Hunter of Beckman Catholic lost his final match and placed 8th.
