A Cuba City man died in a two vehicle head on collision in rural Grant County likely caused by slippery road conditions.
The Grant County Sheriff says 54-year old Craig Hendrickson was pronounced dead when they arrived. Authorities say the crash happened shortly before 8 o’clock Thursday morning on the bridge crossing the Grant River on County Highway U near the intersection with Black Jack Road in Waterloo Township.
Investigators say Hendrickson’s vehicle collided with a pick-up being driven by 20-year old Spencer Meyer-Steiger of rural Potosi. Meyer-Steiger was check for injuries, but didn’t require hospitalization. The crash is still under investigation.
