A former para-educator at Dubuque Hempstead High School facing multiple charges after an alleged sexual relationship with a student has entered plea to the charges in Dubuque County District Court.
At an arraignment hearing this week, 40-year old Elizabeth Dunlap entered a plea of not guilty to the charges of sending nude photos to the student and sexually exploited the student. A trial date was then set for April 1st.
Dunlap was arrested last month after an investigation by Dubuque Police which started last November after students at Hempstead reported Dunlap was involved in a sexual relationship with the student.
