A Dubuque man convicted by jury in November of a number of sex crimes has been sentenced to prison time.
Last week in Dubuque County District Court, 64-year old Teodoro Rubio was ordered to serve 25 years in prison on charges of second-degree sexual abuse and three counts of lascivious acts with a child.
Rubio was arrested in early 2023 after an investigation by Dubuque Police after a woman told police her 10 year old step stepdaughter was sexual abused by Rubio on numerous occasions at their home over the past four years.
