A Dubuque family of 9 is without a home today following a house fire yesterday afternoon.
Dubuque firefighters were called to 892 Edison Street around 1:15 on the report of heavy smoke and fire coming from the home. According to online records, the home is owned by Tiffany Keuter. Fire crews faced challenges due to the high winds and two nearby home within feet of the house on fire. The fire was extinguished several hours later, but the home was destroyed.
There were no injuries reported and the cause is under investigation.
The Red Cross is assisting the 2 adults and 7 children who lived in the home.
