A 39-year old Dubuque woman has died in a one vehicle accident in Sauk County Wisconsin and a child trapped inside the vehicle had to be airlifted to U-W Hospitals in Madison with serious injuries.
The Sauk County Sheriff says the accident happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 12 near the town of Sumpter. The names of the woman and child haven’t been released yet. Authorities say their investigation shows the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and went off the road into a wooded area.
