Forecasters say the coldest air of the season so far will be impacting the Tri-State area starting this weekend into early next week.
The National Weather Service says the bitterly cold air will create dangerous wind chill values in the teens and 20s below zero both Saturday night and Sunday night.
High temperatures are predicted to only reach the single digits Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday with lows at night falling to around 10 below zero by Monday night.
Experts say to limit your time outdoors…if you must be outside make sure you dress in layers, cover all exposed skin, also remember your pets and keep them out of the weather.
