IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Josh Dix had a career-high 31 points and seven 3-pointers, Payton Sandfort scored all 30 of his points after halftime and Iowa overcame a 15-point, second-half deficit to beat Nebraska 97-87 in overtime. Iowa (11-4, 2-2 Big Ten Conference) scored the first nine points of the extra period to pull away.
AMES, Iowa (AP) — Curtis Jones had 23 points off the bench to lead No. 3 Iowa State to an 82-59 victory over Utah to extend the Cyclones’ win streak to 10 games. Jones tied his season high in points on 10-of-17 shooting. He also had five rebounds, six assists and two steals. The Cyclones improved to 13-1 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12.
