The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is conducting an officer involved critical incident investigation in the City of Fennimore that occurred yesterday afternoon.
Fennimore Police Department officers took a man into custody at a house in the 1500 block of 2nd Street, as part of an ongoing investigation. While in police custody, the subject sustained self-inflected injuries from an edged weapon. The man, whose name hasn’t been released, was taken to a nearby hospital and then airlifted to a Lacrosse hospital. The involved officer is on administrative duty.
