A fire over the weekend at a Platteville storage facility destroyed all 24 units and their contents. Platteville fire fighters were called out Sunday morning around 9 o’clock to Big M Storage Units in the 11-hundred block of U.S. Business 151. Crews from Platteville and other area departments stayed at the scene for around eight hours controlling the blaze. There were no injuries reported. What sparked the fire is still under investigation.
