The American Rivers Conference has released the pre-season men’s and women’s basketball polls for the quickly approaching season.
Nebraska Wesleyan is the coaches’ pick to win the men’s conference championship with the University of Dubuque closely behind separated by two votes from the conference coaches and Loras is right behind in 3rd. Dubuque received 3 first place votes and Loras one.
In the women’s poll: Wartburg has been selected as the team to beat, Loras came in 3rd place with the Duhawks receiving one first place vote, University of Dubuque is picked 6th.
The UD and Loras men’s and women’s teams tip off their seasons November 8th and 9th.
