Dubuque Police arrested a man following an incident Wednesday where he allegedly threatened a woman with a gun inside her home.
37-year old Mickey Miller was taken into custody around 7:30 last night in the 400 block of West Locust Street and now faces a number of charges including going armed with intent and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
Police say dispatchers received an emergency text from a home in the 400 block of Clark Street. When officers arrived the woman said Miller had a verbal dispute with her which led to him pointing a laser guided pistol at her. Miller left the home when police arrived but was detained at gunpoint by an officer who had just arrived and then other officers also arrived to help make the arrest which Miller reportedly resisted. Police recovered the handgun the woman described and ammunition.
