The Iowa State Patrol says people died in a fiery collision on Highway 20 in Delaware County. The Patrol says the crash happened early Sunday morning around 3:30, about three miles east of Earlville.
According to the accident report, a car traveling the wrong way heading east in the westbound lanes and collided with a semi-truck. Both vehicles became fully engulfed in flames.
The driver of the semi was hurt but is expected to survive. Authorities have not released the names of anyone involved. The accident remains under investigation.
