Dubuque Police say two women were injured after their vehicle struck a tree in Eagle Point Park.
The accident happened Friday afternoon shortly after 1:30. Police say the vehicle driven by 66-year old Jodi Mara of Grayslake, Illinois was pulling into a parking space and accidentally hit the accelerator causing it to jump the curb and go down the hill into a tree. Mara and passenger Christine Meyers of Jackson, Wisconsin were taken by ambulance to MercyOne Medical Center for treatment.
