An Asbury man charged with first degree robbery in connection with an assault on a 16-year old boy in downtown Dubuque in June has decided to plead guilty.
22-year old Charles Tyler and a 15-year old boy were arrested following the incident on June 16th when the victim was hospitalized after being punched in the face several times and suffering stab wounds to one of his arms. The boys bicycle was also stolen in the incident. Online court records show Tyler who was scheduled to stand trial earlier this month filed a petition late last week to the court to plead guilty. He is still being held in the Dubuque County Jail, his next court date is still pending.
