A Dubuque man has received a jail sentence for a domestic assault incident earlier this year.
36-year old Pierre Springer was sentenced to four years behind bars on the charges of domestic assault with the intent to inflict serious injury and first-degree harassment.
As part of a plea deal, Springer pled guilty to the charges which stemmed from his arrest following an incident on July 1st where he caused multiple injuries to a woman at his home.
