University of Dubuque women’s soccer student-athlete Karissa Cruz has been named the American Rivers Conference Female Athlete of the Week. Cruz was very active against 7th ranked Wisconsin-La Crosse securing 11 saves while facing 24 shots in all 90 minutes of action. Cruz held LaCrosse to their lowest goal total of the season to date in a 2-1 loss. Dubuque also had a shutout win 2-0 over Concorida-Chicago.
