City Bus Strikes Motorcycle Injuring Rider

A Dubuque man was injured when the cycle he was operating collided with a city bus.

Dubuque Police say the crash happened Thursday evening around 7 o’clock at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Northwest Arterial.  Police say the bus driven by 63-year old Zlatko Odobasic went through a red light while turning right and struck the cycle being operated by 50-year old Jamie Doyle.

Following the accident Doyle had to be taken to Finley Hospital by ambulance

3 Vehicle Crash In Downtown Dubuque Injures 1 Person

A three vehicle accident in downtown Dubuque resulted in one person going to the hospital.

Dubuque Police say the accident happened Thursday morning around 10:45 in the 16-hundred block of White Street.  According to authorities, one of the vehicles driven by 46-year old Timothy Markham of Holy Cross rear ended a stopped vehicle driven by 38-year old Kelly White of Dubuque. White’s vehicle was then pushed into a vehicle in front of hers driven by  73-year old Jacqueline Johnson of Dubuque.  White was taken by ambulance to Mercy One Dubuque Medical Center for treatment.

2 Dubuque Men Injured In Crash at JFK and Hillcrest Intersection

Two Dubuque men were injured after the vehicles they were driving collided at a busy Dubuque intersection. Dubuque Police say that accident happened Thursday morning shortly before 9 o’clock at the intersection of Kennedy Road and Hillcrest Road.

Authorities say a vehicle driven by 76-year old Stephen Graham was turning left onto Kennedy Road and pulled into the path of the other vehicle driven by 42-year old Demetrius Mims.  Following the collision, Graham was taken MercyOne Medical Center, Mims was taken to Finley Hospital.
