A Dubuque man who pled guilty to selling fentanyl powder, pills containing fentanyl, and “ice” methamphetamine in Dubuque was sentenced yesterday.
31-year old Alexander Chapman received a sentence of nearly 10 years in federal prison.
From March 2023 through December 2023, Chapman obtained controlled substances through the mail from three sources of supply in Arizona. In May last year, an individual who used the fentanyl powder distributed by Chapman overdosed.
Following his prison time, Chapman must serve a three-year term of supervised release.
