An Illinois man has received the mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole for 2022 murder in Dubuque.
Yesterday 32-year old Keywani Evans was in Dubuque County District Court to hear the judge pronounce the sentencing.
In May, a jury found Evans guilty of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery in the death of 20-year-old Taiwon Jackson Junior of Dubuque. Jackson was shot four times in the head in the 19-hundred block of Central Avenue during a gathering at a barbeque on June 4th of 2022.
