Clarke University announced the schools current interim president will remove the interim tag becoming the schools17th president in school history.
Following a vote from the university Board of Trustees, Doctor Fletcher Lamkin who has served as interim president the past 18 months has officially being named the new president.
During his tenure as Interim President, Lampkin oversaw the development of Clarke’s new strategic plan, as well as the initiation of a capital campaign to sustain the university well into the future.
Prior to coming to Clarke, Fletch most recently served as President at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri from 2017-2020.
