Fighting Saints Down 2-0 In Eastern Conference Final
Last night, the Dubuque Fighting Saints scored three third-period goals, but could not come back from a five-goal deficit in a 7-4 loss to the Muskegon Lumberjacks to fall behind 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Final at ImOn Arena.
The series will head to Muskegon for game 3 on Tuesday night and if necessary, game 4 on Wednesday. If Dubuque can win both games on the road, the series comes back to Dubuque for a deciding game 5 on Saturday.

Drake Relays
- Western Dubuque High School’s Quentin Nauman became the first Iowa boy to sweep the distance events at the Drake Relays by claiming the 1600 yesterday. Nauman won the 3200 on Thursday and then the 800 on Friday.

- Clarke swept William Penn 5-1 and 5-2.
- UW Platteville split with UW Eau Claire winning 6-4 losing 9-8.
Regional
- Iowa 13, Indiana 4 (Aaron Savary gets his 7th win on the mound, He struck out 6, gave up two runs on seven hits and walked one batter through 6 2/3 innings of work. Iowa gets win number 30 on the season.

- Loras swept Central 3-2 and 5-4.
- Clarke lost twice to Grand View 3-0 and 12-1.
- UW Platteville split with UW Eau Claire winning 5-2, losing 7-6.
