Second Man Arrested For Violent Downtown Assault

A second man has been charged in the violent assault of a man in downtown Dubuque earlier this month.

Yesterday, Dubuque Police arrested 35-year old Tyrell Spearman on a warrant charging willful injury. Spearman is accused in the incident during the early morning hours of April 5th near the intersection of East 14th Street and Central Avenue where a man was found with multiple cuts and lacerations on his head and body.

A second man, 27-year old Myhkal Oliver was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with willful injury.
