Milwaukee Man Pleads Guilty To Firearm Charges

GAVEL COURT

A Milwaukee man has pleaded guilty after holding a Dubuque woman at gunpoint last year.

Yesterday in US District Court in Cedar Rapids, 37-year-old Mickey Miller pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon.

In a plea agreement, he confessed to owning a loaded firearm and ammunition in October 2024. A woman told police Miller had pointed the firearm at her, threatening to kill her and others.

When he is sentenced, Miller faces a possible maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release following imprisonment.
