The Dubuque Fighting Saints fell 3-0 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Friday to the Madison Capitols.
In a goaltending battle, the Fighting Saints and Capitols began the third period in a scoreless tie with Madison breaking through at the 1:48 into the third, adding two more goals for win
Game two will also be played in Dubuque tonight before the series shifts to Madison for game 3 on Monday and if needed, game 4 Tuesday night.
