A second candidate for Mayor in for the City of Dubuque has announced his intentions in running.
Jason Davis, a U.S. Army veteran and lifelong Dubuque resident, officially announced his candidacy. Davis served eight years in the U.S. Army Special Operations with the 2nd Ranger Battalion. He completed five deployments.
Davis said if elected his focus would be on Public Safety & Emergency Response, Economic Development, along with Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency:
Davis invites the public to attend a Meet the Candidate event this Thursday evening beginning at 5 o’clock at Baraboo’s on Main.
Earlier this year, incumbent mayor Brad Cavanaugh announced he plans to seek a second term.
