A Dubuque man was injured when his vehicle went off the road in Jo Daviess County. The accident happened around 2 yesterday afternoon in rural Scales Mound on North Ford Road just south of West Kelly Road. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff says a transit van driven by 29-year old Carter Link lost control while rounding a curve, collided with a culvert, and stuck some trees.
Link was taken to Midwest Medical Center in Galena for treatment. He was cited with driving under the influence of alcohol, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
