U.S. Cellular has announced they expect 41-hundred layoffs across the country and some in Dubuque will be losing their jobs.
According to the Iowa Workforce Development WARN notification website list, 18 employees at the US Cellular store in Wacker Plaza are among the layoffs taking effect June 1st. No layoffs are listed at U.S. Cellular’s two other Dubuque locations. The website also shows 6 layoffs coming at the Manchester location.
The layoffs follow the announcement the company is being acquired by T-Mobile.
