The East Dubuque and Menominee-Dunleith Fire Department battled a large grass fire near East Dubuque.
Around 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon, the fire was reported and fire crews went to the location of the fire behind an address on Arrowhead Drive & moving toward Knaeble Court. The blaze covered about 5 acres before crews finished their work. Investigators determined the cause to be careless use of fireworks.
