An Arizona man has been sentenced to over seven years in prison after mailing fentanyl from Arizona to Dubuque. 29-year-old Shawn Lopez-Johnson received the sentence after pleading guilty to mailing his co-conspirator Alexander Chapman over $5,400 worth of fentanyl powder, pills containing fentanyl, and methamphetamine between March and December 2023.
Lopez-Johnson must also serve three years of supervised release following imprisonment. There is no possibility of parole.
