The Grant County Sheriff’s Department arrested a hit and run driver with an assist from the Dubuque Police Department.
The incident happened Wednesday morning around 11:30 when authorities received a report of a hit and run accident on Highway 151 near the Wisconsin Bridge.
A driver told law enforcement another pick-up passed him, crossed into his lane and sideswiped his pickup truck, but kept driving to Dubuque. Dubuque Police later found the hit and run vehicle which had stopped at a business and arrested the driver 62-year old Karen Steffen of Cuba City.
Steffen was cited with fourth offense O.W.I and other charges for the crash. There were no injuries reported.
