One of two Dubuque men charged in a home break-in and burglary that involved guns being drawn has been sentenced.
20-year old Byron Manning, who pled guilty to a reduced charge of 2nd degree burglary, was sentenced this week to 10 years in prison for September 2024 incident.
Manning and 21-year old Alexander Carmen were charged with entering an apartment on University Avenue, pointing guns at two of the residents and telling them to get on the ground. An X-Box system and I-phone were reported stolen for a combined loss of around $16-hundred dollars.
Police say the burglary was captured on a security camera showing the two entering the home.
