- The University of Iowa baseball team finished off the series sweep over Ohio State with an 18-2 run-rule victory over the Buckeyes on Sunday afternoon. Dubuque native Kellen Strohmeyer launched his first career home run in the win for Iowa. Iowa tallied 42 runs in just 23 innings in the series. The Hawkeyes are 9-1 over the last 10 games and are outscoring their opponents 115-30.

- Dubuque lost twice to Cornell 20-19 and 16-15.
- Clarke fell twice to Benedictine 9-1 and 9-3.
- UW Platteville won twice in Clermont, FL defeated Westminster (MO) 14-4 and Manchester University 10-2.
