Dubuque Police say three people were injured in a downtown accident with involving a vehicle and semi-truck.
Police say the crash happened Thursday morning around 11:20 at the intersection of 5th and White Streets. According to authorities the vehicle driven by 73-year old Jan Cody of Dubuque went through the stop sign and was hit by the semi driven by 53-year old Brian Pierce of Marion. Cody’s vehicle overturned after being hit. Cody and passengers 77-year old Darlene Koppes and 73-year old Marian Hannan were all taken to MercyOne Hospital for treatment.
Cody was cited for not stopping at the stop sign.
