Two people from southwest Wisconsin face drug charges following their arrest.
Yesterday morning, the Layfayette County Sheriff Department along with Belmont Police and members of the Richland, Iowa, Grant Drug Task Force carried out a search warrant at 344 South Mound Avenue in Belmont. 47-year old Misty Gobrecht and 20-year old Connor Varvil were taken to the Layfayette County Jail.
Authorities found cocaine and THC during their search and both Gobrecht and Varvil also face charges of distributing drugs within 1000 feet of a daycare facility.
