NCAA Women’s Tournament
Iowa State (23-11, 12-6 Big 12) took down Princeton 68-63 in the NCAA Tournament First Four. With the win, Head Coach Bill Fennelly earned his 800th of his career, with 634 coming at Iowa State.
Audi Crooks extended her school record to 66 straight games scoring in double figures with a game-leading 27 points while Addy Brown scored 22.
Iowa State advances to face Michigan in the NCAA Tournament First Round Friday morning at 10:30.
NIT Men’s Tournament
Northern Iowa lost to #1 seed SMU 73-63. Trey Campbell led UNI with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Dubuque native Cael Schmitt off the bench scored 8 points and 3 steals as the Panthers closed their season with a record of 20-and-13.
