The Cuba City High School girls basketball team has added a 12th state championship to the schools trophy case. Yesterday in the Division 4 state championship at the Resch Center in Green Bay, the Cubans avenged a heart breaking loss from last season in the title game with a 53-50 win over Neenah St. Mary Catholic.
The title adds another one to Cuba City’s record of the most girls basketball titles in Wisconsin girls hoops history.
Cuba City, who finished with a record of 25-and-5 last won the championship in 2015.
