A Jo Daviess County natural area will be temporarily closed for a prescribed fire later this week. The Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation says that Casper Bluff Nature Preserve, located south of Galena at 870 S. Pilot Knob Road, will be closed Thursday through noon on Friday to accommodate the prescribed fire.
