The Dubuque Community School Board has approved contracts which add another 28-thousand dollars to the cost of planned renovations at Eisenhower Elementary School.
On Monday, the board approved an amendment which adds nearly $11-thousand dollars to the district’s professional services agreement with Origin Design Company and also a $16,800 contract with Origin Design for architectural services for a roof replacement project at Eisenhower.
The renovations at Eisenhower are scheduled to begin later this year and be finished by August 2026.
In other action, the school board approved slight increases to the district’s facility rental fees and student fees for the upcoming school year. Annual per-student curriculum resource fees will increase by $5 per student. The cost of a high school activity pass also will increase by $10 dollars.
