A Dubuque man was injured when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a vehicle in downtown Dubuque. The accident happened at about 3:30 Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Central Avenue and West 16th Street. Police say a vehicle driven by 68-year old Donna Kirby of Dubuque didn’t stop at the stop sign and ran into the bike being ridden by 69-year Michael Haferbecker. Following the accident Haferbecker complained of hip pain, but didn’t require an ambulance to the hospital.
