Girls Basketball
The Cuba City High School girls basketball team is headed back to the state tournament. Yesterday afternoon the Cubans advanced by winning the sectional championship over Aquinas 47-43 at Wisconsin Dells. Cuba City will play in the state semifinals Thursday evening at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Senior Boys State Basketball
The Dubuque Senior Rams will play in the Class 4A state semifinals of the boys state basketball tournament tomorrow afternoon at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The Rams are the number 8 seed in the tourney and will try to take down the top seed Cedar Falls. Game time is at 12:15, pregame at 12:00 on AM 1370 KDTH. - UW Platteville failed to advance to the Sweet 16 falling in overtime to Wisconsin Lutheran 75-73.

No. 10 Iowa State got 24 points from Curtis Jones and never trailed on its way to a 73-57 win against Kansas State. Iowa State returns to action at the Big 12 Championships in Kansas City. The Cyclones are the No. 5 seed and will face the winner of the game between the No. 12 and No. 13 seed at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
