The Practical Nursing and Associate Degree Nursing programs at Northeast Iowa Community College have been awarded full reaccreditation for 10 years by the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Accreditation.
The NICC programs are now the only community college nursing programs in Iowa that are accredited. The programs previously earned six years accreditation.
NICC says the accreditation agency specifically praised the two year Associate Degree Nursing program at the college for demonstrating a culture of excellence and quality in nursing.
