The Wahlert Catholic High School girls basketball team will play tonight in the 3A quarterfinals of the state basketball tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Wahlert is ranked 2nd and the number two seed and will meet 12th ranked 7th seed Spirit Lake in the final game of the day at 8:35 this evening.
This is the 11 girls state tournament team for Wahlert and the third straight trip to Des Moines. The Golden Eagles will be seeking just the second tournament win to get to the semi-finals for the 2nd time.
