On the final day of the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines, several area wrestlers will be closing out their seasons, some with a chance to finish as high as 3rd place in their weight class.
In Class 3A in the consolation semi-finals will be Abe Heysinger of Hempstead at 106 pounds, Mitchell Pins of Hempstead at 120 pounds, and Joe Hirsch of Western Dubuque at 157.
Wrestling in 7th place matches will be Mitchell Murphy of Hempstead at 132, Brady Rissman of Western Dubuque at 150, and Camden Smith of Hempstead at 215.
In Class 2A in the consolation semi-finals will be Brock Morris of Cascade at 132 pounds and Jake Hiland of Bellevue at 157.
Wrestling in a 7th place match at 150 will be Preston Hunter of Beckman Catholic.
