Dubuque Police are investigating the death of a Dubuque woman who was found outside in the frigid cold.
Police say officers and members of the Dubuque Fire Department were called Monday morning shortly before 9 o’clock to the 22 hundred block of Jackson Street where they found 29-year-old Alexandria Brown lying in the snow and attempted lifesaving efforts. Brown was rushed to Mercy Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The preliminary investigation shows Brown was outside exposed to the elements for several hours. An autopsy is being done by the State Medical Examiner to help determine her cause of death.
