Dubuque Firefighters battled a house fire on the city’s north end last night. Shortly before 7 o’clock fire crews were called to the home at 21-11 Windsor Avenue.
When crews arrived they found heavy smoke and flames inside the structure. Five children, one adult, and four dogs got out of the house safely and there were no injuries reported.
Fire officials say the cause is still under investigation.
