Get ready for a one-two punch from Old Man Winter this weekend. The National Weather Service says the first punch will come from two rounds of snow, the first this evening which could produce one to three inches of snow with the second coming tomorrow with another one to three inches possible.
The second punch will come in after the snow exits Saturday with brutal cold temperatures and windy conditions. Lows on Sunday night are forecast around 10 below and then down to 14 below by Monday night.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for this afternoon through early tomorrow morning for Dubuque County along with counties in southwest Wisconsin and northwest Illinois.
